Hambleton Wind Band   now have a confirmed venue for our first rehearsal on

Wednesday 16th September

We will be meeting at

Applegarth Primary School, Northallerton from 7pm to 9pm

We would love to see you there.

The school is on Upwell Rd, but the best place to park is at the far end of the Applegarth long stay car park (DL7 8LZ), free after 6pm. There is a footpath from there, and you will be able to see the school building from the car park. It's only about 100m.

Really looking forward to getting up and running.

Hambleton Wind Band   is a brand-new community wind band for the Hambleton area of North Yorkshire, playing modern to classical, music from the movies, and well known popular pieces. 

We will be rehearsing in Northallerton on Wednesday evenings and, once we're up and running, hope to perform concerts in towns and villages across the local area.

Our aim is simple: to create a friendly, inclusive band where people can share their love of music, develop their skills, and enjoy playing together.

We're currently recruiting  musicians as we launch the band - our first meeting will be in September '26 - and would love to hear from you.

If you play a wind or percussion instrument and are comfortable reading music and performing as part of an ensemble, why not come along and see what we're all about? Whether you've recently finished school, play with another group, or are returning to music after a break, you'll be very welcome.
